How is Opvious different from related products, for example AMPL, JuMP, or Pyomo?
Similar to these examples, Opvious is a high-level, solver-agnostic, optimization system. Opvious differs above all by its API-centric approach: you can optimize efficiently from anywhere--no local solver installation or license required--since operations are run remotely in a distributed, scalable, service.
How are attempt sizes defined?
Each attempt's size is derived from 5 measurements of the input dataset, picking the smallest size which fits. See the table below for measurement and threshold definitions.
